Alice Springs Desert Park

Visited the Desrt Park this morning. The weather was absolutely perfect. The park covers over 3,000 acres. We got to see and learn about a lot of different native plants, animals, and birds. I can't remember all of the names of what we saw but have labeled the few I do remember.

Yellow Daisies

The next 2 are of the Sturts Desert Pea.

Look closely to see the bird blended in with his surroundings.

The Black Kite falcon

Snowy Barn Owl

The Wedge-Tail Eagle

Kangaroos

Princess Parrot look closely.

Thorny Dragon Lizard

Ant hills

Dry river bed

Ghost Gum (Eucalyptus) Trees

Two black Cockatoos
