Melbourne Gardens

Here are some pictures from the gardens visited today.

First was the Fitzroy Gardens and Conservatory 

Then walked through the Royal Botanical Garden 

This is called a Monkey Puzzle Tree

Then went to the Carlton Gardens

Here are a few pictures taken at various places around town. I love visiting the Southern Hemisphere during their Spring season.

And I found out the name of the tall flower I posted yesterday. It is a Gymea Lilly which is native to Australia.

Well that finishes my visit to Melbourne. We leave at 7:30 in the morning to fly to Alice Springs and start exploring the outback region.
