Melbourne Day Two

Spent the day exploring more of the downtown area of Melbourne. Visited cathedrals, a veterans memorial shrine, some gardens, a museum, and the Little Italy and Chinatown sections. It was cloudy and cool this morning with temperatures in the upper 40's. The sun came out and finally warmed up the afternoon into the 50's. I took over 100 photos today so here a just a few.

First are pictures of the churches.

St. Paul's Cathedral

St. Michael's Cathedral

Now some historic buildings.

You would almost think you were in New Orleans in the French Quarter.

The Shrine of Remembrance which is their Veterans Memorial.

The old Treasury Building.

The State of Victiria Parliament House (their state capital).

The Princess Theater

The Royal Exhibition Hall

Now check out the post on the gardens visited today.
